Queen Victoria affectionately referred to Tenbury Wells as one of her favourite places and nick-named it the "Little Town in the Orchard" While much has changed since her time, the name still suits the town perfectly.

Just 2 miles away, Tenbury is our closest town and offers all the essentials for your stay, including cafes, pubs, restaurants, gift shops, and even its own museum and art-deco cinema. If you hop in the car, you will find quaint towns, charming villages, beautiful gardens, castles, and historic houses to visit as well as beautiful countryside to explore. Positioned at the border of Shropshire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire, there are plenty of places to explore in every direction.

From cafes, pubs, restaurants and takeaways or even just visiting markets for yummies to bring back, you certainly won't go hungry when you stay.

Historic Houses & Gardens

There are plenty of National Trust and English Heritage properties and private parks and gardens to explore too. We love Berrington Hall, Queenswood. Kyre Park and Stockton Bury Gardens, to name a few.

Walks & Outdoor Adventure

There is no end of beautiful countryside to explore. You can start a walk right from the doorstep but if you want to venture further, the Shropshire Hills AONB and Malvern Hills offer great walking opportunities. Rivers offer great potential for swimming, kayaking or SUPs.
